The first of a Grand Prix Series of one-day Rapidplays organised by the NICS Club. Each tournament will follow the same format through the series with prizes available on the day and accumulating for the Grand Prix finale.
The tournament is organised over 8 rounds for some Intense chess:
- 4 rounds in the morning session
- break for lunch
- 4 rounds in the afternoon session
Registration opens at 9:20am; pre-registration is available with a £2 discount.
Fee on the day: £10
The first-round draw will be available at 9:50am for a 10:00am sharp start
