With the final Childrens Chess for 2013 completed we have the Grand-prix results for the Belfast Scholastic Shield 2013.

With only one of the Childrens Chess tournaments left for the season we have the Grand-prix results for the tournament series so far.... With prize-giving hopefully at Stormont in June.
Youngsters do well at top Ireland tournament
A huge tournament was held at Leopardstown Racecourse, Dublin on 23rd March. Some 380 primary school players. At the Tournament of Champions 2013, Dayna Ferguson was placed joint 4th, whilst brother Daniel Ferguson came joint 29th out of a section of 120 children.

The top young chess players of Ulster battle it out to see who will be the Champion.

Ulster Schools' Individuals Tournament 2009
The Ulster Schools Chess Council organised its 2009 Individual Championships at Methodist College, Belfast on Saturday 5th December.

Ulster’s Remarkable Under 19-s Retain Inteprovincials
One year on from Ulster’s astonishing tiebreak win over Leinster, the Interprovincials both Under 19 and Under 16 were to be held in Galway at its main university over the 17th and 18th February 2007.

Children's Chess Grand Prix 2007-8
This year's Children's Chess series, sponsored by the Northern Bank Sports Club, had an innovation. As well as prizes for the individual events there was also an overall Grand Prix.
