Irish Team Events
While a member of the Irish Chess Union (ICU), Ulster entered a team in the Interprovincial series and the Irish Club Championship.
British Chess Championship
As a signatory to the BCF (now ECF) British Championship, Ulster players can qualify through local tournaments for entry into the Championship.
European Club Cup
The European Club Cup is an annual competition organised by the European Chess Union. Club teams representing their home Unions compete in a Swiss-style tournament. Ulster teams have competed in it on four occasions, most recently in 2008.
