The 2009-10 B&D League season starts in the first week of November.
2011 Ulster Senior, Intermediate and Junior Championships
The Ulster Chess Union is holding its Championship Congress over the August Bank holiday weekend.
Entries for 2011 Ulster Championships
So far 33 players have entered the Championships. Players can still enter on Saturday morning and registration starts at 9.30 am.
2011 Ulster Championships Day 1
The Ulster Championships are being held at the Europa Hotel over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
2011 Ulster Championships Day 2
Play continued at the Europa Hotel with Rounds 3 and 4.
2011 Ulster Championships Day 3
Rounds 5 and 6 concluded play in the Championships.

Summer 2011 Civil Service Results
The results after the final night of play. The award ceremony and quick play tournament are on Weds 28th September.

The Ulster Masters is a weekend event taking place on December 10th and 11th 2011 at Belfast Boat Club. We look forward to seeing you there!
Ulster Masters Day 1
The Ulster Masters is being held at the Belfast Boat Club over the weekend of 10-11 December 2011. Three rounds are being played each day.
Ulster Masters Day 2
The Ulster Masters concluded on 11 December with Michael Waters adding the Masters Premier title to his one gained in the Ulster Championship. Ross Harris, George Jackson and Philip Morrison took the titles in the second section.
First ever Ulster Blitz Championship
The first ever Ulster Blitz Chess Championship will be held at Belfast Boat Club on Tuesday 27th December 2011.

The UCU Website has received a facelift. After several years, the UCU website receives its 3rd design make-over since 2004 when the website was first launched.

Ulster Rapidplay Championship 2012
This event will be held on Saturday 14 April 2012 at Ballynafeigh Chess Club, Ballynafeigh Community House, 283 Ormeau Road, Belfast.
Williamson Shield centenary edition
The Williamson Shield was first awarded in 1912, the year of the Titanic's doomed maiden voyage. The centenary edition of this ever popular chess tournament will be held over the weekend of 3rd-4th March at the Maynard Sinclair Pavilion in the grounds of the Civil Service Club, Stormont.
