New event on the UCU Calendar
Venue: Belfast Boat Club, 12 Lockview Road, Belfast
Format: 6 round swiss
Entry Fee: £12 (£10 if made prior to 09 December 2011). FREE to titled players (GM, IM, FM) players new to Ulster Chess and all U-18 players.
Time control: 80/5 (80 minutes per player per game plus a 5 second increment for each move made)
Timetable: Saturday & Sunday, 10,11th of December 2011
Registration: 0930-1000 on Day 1
Day 1 & Day 2 :
Round 1 & 4; 1000-1300
Round 2 & 5; 1400-1700
Round 3 & 6; 1800-2100
Sections: To be decided on Day 1 depending upon turnout.
Prizes: Substantial (at least equal to entry fees). Precise prize fund will be formulated and published on Day 1.
