(B&D League 2015/16 Week 15) Muldoons 1 are the new Belfast and District League Champions after beating previous holders Ballynafeigh 1. Ballynafeigh 2 secured the John Strawbridge Cup with a dominant performance, while QUB 2 took the Division 3 title.

Kelly's Heroes keep Strawbridge hopes alive with big win over leaders
(B&D League 2015/16 Week 13) In recent weeks Ballynafeigh have been fielding some of their stronger second team players in their first team in the hopes of making up ground in Division 1, but this week they were left with a weakened squad for their second team which suffered a heavy defeat to Kelly's Heroes, leaving them with work to do to claim the John Strawbridge Cup.

(B&D League 2015/16 Week 9) The CS Lewis Lions are joint leaders of Division 1 after a convincing win against Bangor Groomsport, while in Division 2 Kelly's Heroes make a dent in Ballynafeigh 2's lead.

Ulster Schools Championships 2015-2016
Students from Ulster took part in the Ulster Champions 2015-16 at Methodist College on Saturday 5th December. With youngsters from 7 years to 18 years all playing for a title.

The first of the afternoons of the Childrens Chess tournaments took place on November 7th at Methodist College. Some of the best young players in Ulster play head to head. The winner of the secondary tournament PeterTodd from Bangor Grammar is only in form 2 an excellent result.
