Players Enjoying Chess at the Civil Service Social Club

Having played 10 Rounds of the tournament to date we have 9 game weeks left followed by prize giving and quickplay competition on 26th September.

There are three bands. The winners are based on percentage. The current overall leader is William Storey on 91%. William still needs to complete10 games.

Its good to see players coming to these wednesday sessions. The following players havent missed a session: David Ruben, Robert Lavery, Garry Johnston playing 10 out of the 10 games. They have qualified. But still need to play 2 out of the last three games of the tournament.

We have had a lot of brilliant chess some total of 123 games.With a total of 40 players playing.
