P3 player wins March's Childrens Chess

A young P3 player Dayna Ferguson wins the Primary Section unbeaten with 6 points. Kevin Robbin wins the Secondary Section with 5.5 points. Eibhia Ni Mhureagain wins the Lower Secondary Section.

 

While it snowed outside 24 young players battled over the chessboard.

The primary section had some upset with the top players Lucia Corrigan and Honor Parissis being beaten by the younger Dayna Ferguson who beat everyone she played and came top of the primary competition with 6 full points. At round 3 we had brother v sister Dayna v Daniel Ferguson (P2). Dayna winning,
