Magherafelt travelling people have settled in Mallusk

Sad to report the demise of Magherafelt Chess Club due to persistent difficulties in maintaining local numbers; one local player does not a club make. Instead, the industrious folk of Mallusk have opened their doors to the footloose Magherafelt Away Team.

Club captain Peter Wilson is enthusiastic about the move "We have a mean team this year and we mean business! We have two weapons at our disposal: the big man, consistency and determination. No wait, we have THREE..."
