6. Proposed Resolutions

A) That the UCU will affiliate to the ICU. : Proposer Mark Newman, Seconder Ross Harris.

Background: The Board recently received a letter from the ICU President asking for closer ties.

B) That membership of the Ulster Chess Union should be raised to £15 per member from the closure of this A.G.M : Proposer Damien Cunningham, Seconder .

C) That the concession discount be discontinued from the closure of this A.G.M: Proposer Damien Cunningham, Seconder .

D) That each club must provide a volunteer controller for one day during the year: Proposer Damien Cunningham, Seconder .

E) That the incoming board be tasked with assisting clubs to adopt schools to coach chess in : Proposer Damien Cunningham, Seconder .

F) That the incoming board consider the promotion of chess in conjunction with local council programmes : Proposer Damien Cunningham, Seconder .

G) That the incoming board needs to be conscious of the recent appearance of a organization that claims to represent Chess In Northern Ireland and to respond appropriately: Proposer Damien Cunningham, Seconder .
