Keeping our pattern from last year, the Grand Prix will be organised over a series of Rapidplays: Lackadaisicals (20 min games) and Intense (15 min games).
This week is our second Lackadaisical of the season: we have the technology - time controls of 20mins with 5 sec increments
Entrance Fees
£10 on the day, or £8 for advance earlybird registration. No other discounts available
Registration
Begins at 1:00pm for a 1:30pm start. Advance earlybird registration by email to the controller for a 20% discount
Rounds
6 round Swiss starting at 1:30pm. 20+5 on the clock reckoning that 6th round should finish about 6:00pm
Prize Fund
After expenses, admission fees will be distributed as 25% to Alan Burns Grand Prix, 25% to club fund, 50% prize fund on the day. Depending on the field, awards will include at least Winner, Runner-up and Grading prizes
Lunch
Lunch is served in the Whistles Bar & Restaurant from 12:00am on Sundays, checkout the sample menu
