Ulster Chess Championships 2015

The Ulster Chess Championships is a 3 day event taking place at the Europa Hotel from Friday 21st - Sunday 23rd August 2015.

Format: 6 round swiss

Entry Fee: £20 (£15 if made prior to Monday 17th August)

Registration: ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY 1.00 p.m. ON FRIDAY 21ST AUGUST.  NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED ON THE NIGHT OF THE FIRST ROUND. Players must be registered with the UCU for the year 2015 / 2016.

Time Control: 1 hour 15 minutes + 15 sec increment per move. Players will be defaulted if they arrive more than 30 minutes after the start of the round.

In the event of players finishing on equal points a tie-breaking system will be applied for titles and money prizes. (First tie-break will be Median Buchholz followed, if necessary, by Buchholz, then most wins and then progressive scores.)
