Ulster Championships 2015
Europa Hotel
It's all change this year for the Ulster Championships with the tournament no longer being held over the August Bank holilday weekend due to the unavailability of the Europa Hotel. It will now be staged the weekend before and will run on the Friday (1 round), Saturday (3 rounds) and Sunday (2 rounds). The time control will be 1 hour 15 minutes + 15 sec increment per move.
With the first round starting promptly at 7.00pm on the Friday night ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY 1.00pm ON FRIDAY 21ST AUGUST. NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED ON THE NIGHT OF THE FIRST ROUND. As usual early entrants will receive a discounted price.
The Ulster Chess Union has recently purchased 5 digital boards and as an exciting new feature we hope to have live streams of the top boards in all sections!
