Strandtown and Inchmarlo represent Ulster at the Primary School Interprovincials
On Saturday 22nd April two of Northern Ireland's top primary schools, Strandtown and Inchmarlo, were representing Ulster in the Irish Primary Schools Interprovincial Championships. The two teams of 4 players headed down to Gonzaga College in Dublin to play in this extremely competitive tournament.
Ulster Junior Success at Irish Championships
A group of talented youngsters from Ulster arrived at Sligo to play in the Irish Junior Championships over 7th - 9th April and they did brilliantly.
Another fantastic evening competition organised by Brendan Jamison
The Belfast Rapidplay Championships were held on 28 April 2017 in the Good Shepherd Centre on the Ormeau Road, with a total of 36 players competing across three closely fought sections. Spread over 5 rounds each player had 20 minutes on the clock with a 5 minute break in-between rounds to enjoy the snacks and soft drinks from the refreshments corner!
