The weekend of January 19-20th 2019 was no regular weekend at the Stormont Pavilion in Belfast, as one of the most major chess events took place to kick off the new year. Hosted by the Omagh Club - a regular event in our chess calender and one we look forward to. The 2018 Omagh Rapidplay Championship took place on Saturday 24th November with 45 players. One of our largest competitions.
