Bangor Chess Club, Groomsport Parish Hall, 30 Main Street, Groomsport, County Down, BT19 6JR
TIMETABLE:
Pay entry fees: 7:45pm-7:50pm.
Round 1 commencing at 8pm.
12 rounds in total. The tournament will be completed by 10:45pm.
SECTIONS:
One open section. Prize fund will be published on the evening, after all entry fees have been collected.
TIME CONTROL:
3 minutes + 2 second increments per move. Each round will last approximately 10 minutes with an average of 5 rounds per hour, allowing a couple of minutes in-between rounds for entering in the results.
PRICE:
Free entry for members of Bangor Chess Club
£1 for non-members of Bangor Chess Club
All entry fees will be redistributed as tiny prizes for 1st, 2nd and grading prize. The champion will also receive the perpetual shield, won by Ross Harris in 2017.
