Tournament Progress report for November /December
The Tournament has again proved popular with a total of 28 entries and many familiar but also some keen new players taking part. The wide range of ratings makes for 3 viable grading sections and with 5 of the maximum16 rounds completed the top scores are : Low section - Robert Clarke 100% ( 2 played) ; Barney McGahan 80% ( 5 played). Middle section: Stewart McConaghy 88% ( 4 played); Paul Hanna 60% ( 5 played). High section: Daniel Gonzalez 100% ( 3 played) ; Robert Lavery 5 games. Players need a minimum of 10 games ( 2 played within the last 3 weeks of the Tournament) to be eligible for a prize so there is still time for players to enter the Tournament after the Christmas break. The Tournament resumes on January 21st.
