February Chess at Methodist College
The problem solving continues between rounds throughout the afternoon. Today inline with Malolas Prasath brilliant idea of learning through the study of the World Champion Magnus Carlsen - I included some of Magnus' positions in the problem sheet. Malola also ran a tournament today :“Experience Magnus” A Special Thematic Chess tournament for School Boys and Girls! as part of A Chess Heritage Experience within the Celebration of 800th year of Mayoralty and Freeman in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne..Where the games were recorded by the players who started in positions that Magnus has played.
