UCU AGM Agenda
The 2012 UCU AGM is being held at St Malachy's Old Boy's Association, Antrim Road, Belfast on Wednesday 13th June, commencing at 7.30pm. Below is the agenda for the meeting, which includes several motions for debate.

Williamson Shield centenary edition
The Williamson Shield was first awarded in 1912, the year of the Titanic's doomed maiden voyage. The centenary edition of this ever popular chess tournament will be held over the weekend of 3rd-4th March at the Maynard Sinclair Pavilion in the grounds of the Civil Service Club, Stormont.
Ulster Rapidplay Championship 2012
This event will be held on Saturday 14 April 2012 at Ballynafeigh Chess Club, Ballynafeigh Community House, 283 Ormeau Road, Belfast.

The UCU Website has received a facelift. After several years, the UCU website receives its 3rd design make-over since 2004 when the website was first launched.
First ever Ulster Blitz Championship
The first ever Ulster Blitz Chess Championship will be held at Belfast Boat Club on Tuesday 27th December 2011.
Ulster Masters Day 2
The Ulster Masters concluded on 11 December with Michael Waters adding the Masters Premier title to his one gained in the Ulster Championship. Ross Harris, George Jackson and Philip Morrison took the titles in the second section.
Ulster Masters Day 1
The Ulster Masters is being held at the Belfast Boat Club over the weekend of 10-11 December 2011. Three rounds are being played each day.

Fisherwick Chess Club is running another in its series of 6 round tournaments.
