The new School year has started and the Childrens Chess Tournament series kicks-off

The first in the monthly tournaments for this academic year is the London Junior Chess Championship Belfast Qualifier on Saturday 7th October.

We are looking forward to another exciting series of childrens chess events. With the first being held at Methodist College on the 7th October - The Belfast Qualifier for the London Junior Chess Championship. All youngsters are welcome to come and play and enjoy chess and possibly qualify for the London tournament.

Details of the London Tournament can be found at : www.ljcc.co.uk - it is a very prestigious event. But you can even play in this if you just wish to have fun playing chess....

October 7th London Junior Chess Championships Qualifier 9:30 – 5:00pm

November 4th Childrens Chess 12:30 – 5:00

December 9th Ulster Schools Championship  10:00 –6:00

January 13th Childrens Chess 12:30 – 5:00

February 10th Childrens Chess 12:30 – 5:00

March 10th Childrens Chess 12:30 – 5:00

April 14th Childrens Chess 12:30 – 5:00

May 12th UK Chess Challenge 9:45 – 5:00

An opportunity for Primary Students to Qualify for the London Junior Chess Championships - one of the most prestigous Junior chess events. The qualifier is an all day 6 round Childrens Tournament.
