The final standings of the Childrens Chess Grandprix 2018

With the Childrens Chess Tournaments coming to their end this year. We have the final positions of the students in the Grandprix. The top 4 players of each section getting invited to Stormont by MLA Chris Lyttle for an Elite Tournament and Award ceremony.

The rules of the Grandprix are that players positions in the sections : Upper Secondary (F4 and above), Lower Secondary (F3 and below) and Primary will allocate points to the players based on :

PositionPoints
1 10
2 8
3 6
4 5
5 4
6 3
7 2
8 1

The top 3 scores of each player over the series of the 5 tournaments are added together to calculate players scores. If players share points they share the prize. The top 4 of each section are invited to an award ceremony by MLA Chris Lyttle held at Stormont in June - with their parents and the Principal of their school.

So how do players stand....
