The Weekly Irish Times reported on Saturday 25th April 1903:

Belfast once again resumes possession of the "Silver King". Mr. R. Olley, the untiring hon. secretary, must be awarded the chief share of merit for this result, since he managed to prevent any game being lost through the absence from the matches of a team member and only one bout was lost by his club in the contest. Victoria kept up its name for stiff fighting by securing second place in the tourney.
