Ulster Championship

There were only 14 entrants in the Ulster Senior Championship, the smallest since the current format was introduced in 1982. However, although lacking in quantity, this was still a strong field in terms of quality, including 5 FIDE rated players and 3 former champions. Stephen Scannell finished unbeaten to win his fourth Championship.
