Ulster Schools League 2004

The season began with a traditionally difficult trip up to St. Columb’s of Londonderry.

The team, however, consisting of Chris Millar (captain), Timothy Ng, Christophe McGlade, Sini Gye, Ryan Deane and Ananda Srinivasan, managed to produce a fairly comfortable 4 -2 victory. We then hosted last years champions R.B.A.I and, for the first occasion in some time,  were able to field a full-strength team - Chris Millar (captain), Christophe McGlade, Jonathan Woodfield, Sini Gye, Ryan Deane and Ananda Srinivasan. This enabled us to win by an impressive margin of 5 - 1. In our following fixtures we produced similarly notable results with the same selection of players - defeating B.R.A 5.5 - 0.5 at home and 5 - 1 away. We then secured first place in the league and a place in the All Ireland Colleges’ Championship with a 4 - 2 home victory in our return fixture against St. Columb’s.

MCB team

The Methody 2005 First Division team consisted of Chris Millar (captain), Frank Wu, Ryan Deane, Sini Gye, Andrew Wright, Ananda Srinivasan, and featured cameo appearances by Nicola Hood, Simon Wright and Philip Chen.
