£12 entry fee to secure place in tournament, if paid in advance by PayPal, Revolut or bank transfer to Chief Arbiter Brendan Jamison by 12 noon on Saturday 2nd September.

£15 for late entries or players paying cash on the day (if space is still available - please bring exact cash).

Members of the City of Derry Chess Club get into the tournament for £8 if their entry fee is paid by 12 noon on Saturday 2nd September, after-which it rises to £15 late entry fee, if any spaces are left.

Entry fees go towards the venue hire and the cost of the 6 engraved trophies.

Prizes for Champion, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, Junior Champion, Junior 2nd and Junior 3rd.

Tie-breaks by Buchholz, Progressive, TPR Mixed

By train: take the 8:20am train from Belfast Lanyon Place Station, arriving into Derry/Londonderry train station at 10:22am

FIDE rules will apply.

Phones must be completely switched off. Any noise from a phone will lead to the immediate loss for that player, including loss of rating points.
