Sections will be determined by rating level of the entrants. We usually hold at least two sections, an upper and lower.
Time control: 90 minutes per player. No increments
Saturday 30 January 2021
Round 1: 10:00am to 1:00pm
Round 2: 2:00pm to 5:00pm
Round 3: 6:00pm to 9:00pm
Sunday 31 January
Round 4: 10:30am to 1:30pm
Round 5: 2:15pm to 5:15pm
Prize-giving: 5:30 to 6:00pm on Zoom details will be sent to participants.
Half point travelling byes are available for players unable to play in Rounds 1,2,3 or 4. However, players must request byes when registering. Only one half point travelling bye may be allocated to each player. A second bye is permitted but the player will be scored zero for that round. No travelling byes are permitted in Round 5.
Entry fees: None - As this is virtual the games wont be UCU rated.
