Prize-giving: 6:10 to 6:15pm
Half point travelling byes are available for players unable to play in Rounds 1,3 or 4. However, players must request byes when registering. Only one half point travelling bye may be allocated to each player. A second bye is permitted but the player will be scored zero for that round. No travelling byes are permitted in Round 6.
75 minutes per player per game without increments (i.e. max duration = 2 and a half hours). Default time is 30 minutes (i.e. you will be awarded the win if your opponent fails to turn up and their clock exceeds 30 minutes)
Senior section (Over 1500)
Intermediate section (Under 1500) Subject to change, depending on entries.
There is only a small shop selling cold food at entrance to the school therefore players are advised to bring a lunch-box of food for breaks in-between rounds. Alternatively, Bloomfield’s Shopping Centre is 2.3 miles away and has many eating options. There is ample free parking there. Bangor Main Street is 1.9 miles from the school and anyone travelling there for food should park in the marina car park which is free. It is located at the bottom of Main Street, with the entrance on Queen’s Parade.

Entry fees:
£20 if entered after 12 noon on Saturday 16 November 2019
£15 if entered before 12 noon on Saturday 16 November 2019
£10 for students and Under 18s.
