2005-2006 League Season
The 2006 winners in the three Divisions of the UCU Belfast and District Leagues are Clifton House, Malone and Armagh.
January 2006 Northern Bank Childrens Chess
Saturday afternoon schools chess, again sponsored by the Northern Bank Social Club, returned for its fifth season at Belfast Inst. on the 21st January 2006.

Ulster Schools Individual Chess Championship 2005
The 2005 Ulster Schools Individual Championship took place at RBAI on Saturday, November 19th 2005. Once again a very exciting tournament and thanks must go to Mr Chris Maitland (RBAI), Dr Graham Murphy (MCB), Mr Damian Walls (St Columbs), Mr David McAlister (UCU) and Dr Gopalan Srinivasan (UCU) for their roles in organising this event.
2005 Irish Schools Interprovincials
Ulster Schools hosted the All Ireland Under 19 and Under 16 Interprovincial Tournament on the weekend of 4/5 March 2005. The team competition was held at Methodist College, Belfast with visiting teams from Leinster and Munster.
