40 competitors competed in 2 sections - an excellent turnout considering that many Ulster chess clubs are closed for the summer.

(Pilkiewicz took third prize on tie-break, but Mallaghan had the consolation of securing the Under-1900 Grading Prize.) The Under-1750 Grading Prize was won by Desmond Moreland.

2=3. Alex Beckett, Alan Burns 4.0.
The Under-1400 Grading Prize went to Chris Black while Hannah Lowry-O'Reilly and Calum Leitch won prizes as the best placed Under-14 competitors
