Summer Tournament 2021 four weeks played
Players are welcome to drop in to play a game of 90mins each. On a wednesday evening. So far we have played 4 weeks. Whos playing and how are they doing?
We have had 4 weeks of slow chess. Where players drop in if they wish to play on a (usually) wednesday evening. The standings are calculated on a percentage basis. The tournament runs through the Summer months ending just before the usual Chess season starts on the last Weds of September. So plenty of weeks to go.
As the Covid restrictions are slowly lifted I have organised with a view to playing face to face the facilities of the Civil Service Social Club , Maynard Sinclair Pavilion from the beginning of July - so we may well move to this venue. Watch this space.
