The 2021 AGM and Ulster Championships - Weekend of July 24th

We are looking at having the 2021 AGM and the Ulster Championships for 2021 face to face. Over the weekend of July 24th, 25th. Depending on getting an appropriate venue.

The AGM will be held on the 24th July at 8:00pm.

Venue to be confirmed.

Anyone wishing to stand for election to the Executive Board needs to submit their intention to stand and any position they wish to stand for by 12 noon on Saturday 10th July 2021. Similarly any motions to be presented at AGM for voting must also be submitted by 12 noon on Saturday 10th July 2021. In both cases, email the UCU secretary Andy Boal before the deadline, secretary@ulsterchess.org.

The Agenda will be the same as previous meetings.

The format of the Ulster Championships is to be confirmed but the aim is to have face to face playing with agreed covid precautions - subject to the venue.

It is possible we will play one round on Friday evening with a further 2 rounds on each of Saturday and Sunday to allow for a slower game.
