The Hibernian Online Chess League is accepting applications from all Irish clubs to join a new online league being set up to give chess players
the opportunity to play with their teammates again during these very difficult times for everyone. Depending on demand leagues will be four, five,
or six boards with time controls of 20'+15", 30'+15" or 45'+15". Games will be played on Lichess.org. There are no charges or fees for entering
the HOCL and as playing on the Lichess server is free, players can just enjoy playing chess with their friends and teams again.
The league will be hosted on the Chess League website. Clubs wishing to participate in the league should email hibernian@chessleague.net.
Please indicate the average ratings and number of players who are interested and any preferences for times and days their teams would like to play.

Please forward this notice to any chess contacts you may have.
If the response is positive, the league can commence within the next 7 to 10 days.
