Ulster Masters 2025 – Results
With entries arriving right up to the final moments, this year’s Ulster Masters came close to being restricted to a single section. A late surge of players—and a notably higher proportion of strong, higher-rated entrants—made creating a balanced intermediate section particularly challenging.
In the end, arbiter Andrew Todd successfully established two sections, dividing the field at a 1750 rating cutoff, with over 30 players competing in total. Thanks to our excellent venue, which generously hosted the event free of charge once again, we were also able to offer a superb prize fund.
