RIP Peter Wilson
Nicholas Pilkiewicz's thoughts on Peter Wilson after his funeral.
On Thursday the 31st March myself and my wife joined fellow chess players to pay our final respects to Peter Wilson. Peter passed away suddenly recently and I still can't believe it. The service was incredibly sad with speeches from his father, Richard Gould, Mark Newman and a family friend. Each recalling happy memories in their glowing tributes.
The Ulster Chess Union has lost a great character and I hope to meet him again some day for a game of chess.
