Tournament pairings will be printed out at 9:50am.
All players to be seated at 9:55am.
10 Rounds. One open section.
Playing time: 10am to 12pm
Time control: each round will last 10 minutes. Players will have 5 minutes each to complete all their moves.
Location: Greenisland Baptist Church, 17 Glassillan Grove, Greenisland, Carrickfergus BT38 8TE
Entry fees: £1 for children, teenagers and students £2 for adults.
It is a family-friendly event. Families only pay for first two entrants, any more than two from the same family get free entry.
All entry fees cover the cost of the little trophies.
Community cafe beside playing hall. Cafe open from 10am to 12pm.
Players need to register by 12 noon on Thursday 20 February 2020. Please note that newcomers need to submit their date of birth when registering. For Under 18s, parents are required to email the entry details.
The event is jointly run by Christopher Dorrian (Greenisland Co-ordinator) and Brendan Jamison (Ulster Chess Union Tournament Director)
