Time Control: 10+0

Pairing Software: Swiss Master 5.7 Build 8

Tie-break order: Buchholz, Progressive Scores, TPR Mixed

Trophies will be presented as prizes.

FIDE rules will apply.

No food in playing hall. All phones must be switched off.

Chief Arbiter: Brendan Jamison

Number of players: 50

Entry fee: £10, payable in advance to secure place.

Free entry for 2nd, 3rd, 4th player from the same family.

Full refunds will be issued to players needing to withdraw up to 24 hours before the event.

Also don’t forget your union fees, you must be a paid up member of the ICU to play in any FIDE rated events at Bangor Chess Club as all FIDE events in Northern Ireland are done through the ICU.  So pay your union fees and your games will get rated!

Deadline to enter: 12 noon on Sunday 2 March 2025

Players must register in advance to fidechessni@gmail.com and will be added to the entry list after £10 entry fee is received.
