£100 cash prize for the winner. Small trophies for other awards - Intermediate Champion, Junior Champion, Under 18 Champion and Under 15 Champion
£10 entry fee
Free entry for 2nd or 3rd player from the same family
Players of all levels are very welcome, whether you are rated or unrated. Open to players from any club or no club at all.
This event will be rated by FIDE and the UCU.
Players without a FIDE ID will need to supply their DOB so we can get a FIDE ID set-up.
All entrants should be paid-up union members (either ICU or UCU)

To guarantee a place, entrants should prepay their entry fee. A place in the competition will only be secured once payment is received. Arriving on the day to register is not possible. We must receive all applications in advance.

Tie-breaks will be determined by Swiss Master 5.7 Build 8 in the following order: Buchholz, Progressive Scores, TPR Mixed
Please note the venue is in a residential area. There are no shops within walking distance so we recommend entrants plan ahead and bring a back-pack with drinks and food (which can be eaten on the break, not at the boards during games).
