There is a small 'pay and display' car park beside the venue but players are advised to arrive early if needing a parking space. Alternatively there is also a 'pay and display' car park opposite Bangor Bus+Train Station (3 minutes walk from venue)
Players needing hotel accommodation. The nearest hotel is the Premier Inn at Castle Park, 5 minute walk from the venue.

FIDE rules will apply. Remember mobile phones must be switched off and no food allowed in playing hall. Non-alcoholic bottle drinks are permitted at the boards as long as they are covered with lid or caps (in cases of hot drinks).
Early bird tournament entry fees:
30 GBP for anyone paying before 12 noon on 1st August 2026
Late tournament entry fees: (if space is still available)
40 GBP for anyone paying after 12 noon on 1st August 2026
Max capacity = 40 players.

Money prizes will be confirmed and published online at link above one week before event (once entry fees have been collected). After venue hire is paid, all other money collected from the entry fees will be used for the prize pot.
