Winners of the Ulster Blitz Championship
In the 2011-2012 season the UCU established an Ulster Blitz Championship during the Christmas holiday period. The Championship continues to be held in that time slot.

In 2020 the Championship could not be held because of Government Covid-19 restrictions.
2021 - Alex GOSS
At the 2022 Championship, a perpetual trophy - the Jamison Cup - was presented for the first time to the winner. The trophy is named after Brendan Jamison in recognition of his organising and acting as arbiter in numerous blitz (and rapid) FIDE-rated tournaments. Many Ulster players have obtained their first FIDE ratings through those tournaments.
