The second in the Alan Burns Lacksidasicals 2020

The 2020 series of Alan Burns Lacksidasicals continued on the 8th March. A fun afternoon of thoughtful chess.

A top group of players turned up at the Civil Service Pavilion. With Sergio Esteve Sanchez and Danny Roberts we have the cream of Ulster Chess. The rest of the players were quite cable of making an upset and providing challenging chess. So we looked forward to an afternoon of exciting chess.

I only play if there is an odd number, luckily this Sunday we had that and I got to play. Facing tough opposition, very enjoyable games and challenging positions. Playing meant I didnt get as many

It was brilliant to see players enjoying the excellent lunch provided by the restaurant at the Pavilion. We sat and chatted a leisurely start to a Sunday afternoon in such good company.
