The second in the Alan Burns tournaments 2019

The second Lacksidasical in the Alan Burns Grandprix took place at the Civil Service Pavilion on 10th March 2019.

The second in the Alan Burns series of tournaments. We had new faces and even a player who came up from Dublin to play.

I had a good chat with Joseph Gunning who had played chess a while back with Arthur Cootes and Eddie Whiteside. He was returning to chess after a long break.

The time control of 20mins and 5 sec increment meant there was no rush.
