The Hammel Cup was formally handed over to the Ulster Chess Union at the 2002 KO Cup Final. Seen here with the Cup are UCU President, David McAlister, and Stephen Scannell, 1999 winner of the Summer Tournament. Scannell holds the record of seven wins in the tournament.
