Check-in opens at 7:15pm. Please take your seat at 7:25pm. The 10 rounds will run back-to-back.
FIDE rules apply.
No food in playing hall. No spectators. Mobile phones must be switched off. If a player’s phone makes any type of noise, instant loss of game and loss of rating points.
Chief Arbiter: Brendan Jamison
Tie Break order: Buchholz, Progressive, TPR Mixed
Engraved trophies will be awarded as prizes.
Pairing Software Programme: Swiss Master
To be included in this tournament, players should register and prepay at least 3 days in advance. Please note, we can not guarantee space for players who turn up on the day without preregistering as we have a maximum capacity in terms of the number of tables, clocks and sets at the venue.
Remember:
ICU membership must be up-to-date as all FIDE rated events are run through the ICU.
Entry fee: £10 (discounted to £5 for players competing in the City of Belfast Championships)
