The Ulster Chess Union Rapidplay Championship 2022. FIDE Rated.

Venue: The Pavilion, Civil Service Social Club.

Format: 6 round Swiss

Open to players of all range of abilities

Time Limit

Each player has 20 minutes + 5 sec increment.

Entry Fee £15 to be paid at the event.

Timetable: All 6 rounds are played on Sunday 22nd May 2022. Registration is on the morning of the event at 10.30am.

Sections: To be decided on the day depending on turnout

Prizes: The prize fund will be formulated and published on the day of the tournament

In the event of players finishing on equal points a tie-breaking system will be applied for titles and money prizes.

(First tie-break will be Median Buchholz followed, if necessary, by Buchholz then progressive scores.)
