Keeping our pattern from last year, the Grand Prix will be organised over a series of Rapidplays: Lackadaisicals (20 min games) and Intense (15 min games).
This week is our first Intense of the season: a straight 15 mins. So more games today with a little less time - enjoy.
Entrance Fees
£10 on the day, or £8 for advance earlybird registration. No other discounts available
Registration
Begins at 1:00pm for a 1:30pm start. Advance earlybird registration by email to the controller for a 20% discount
Rounds
An 8 round (at least) Swiss starting at 1:30pm. 15 mins each on the clock reckoning that 8th round should finish before 5:30pm
Prize Fund
After expenses, admission fees will be distributed as 25% to Alan Burns Grand Prix, 25% to club fund, 50% prize fund on the day. Depending on the field, awards will include at least Winner, Runner-up and Grading prizes
Lunch
