Bangor Chess Club AGM and September Programming
On Thursday 1st September, Bangor Chess Club held their AGM and elected a new club committee.

The AGM agreed to increase club fees by £5 this season. The new standard rate is £35 per season for working adults and pensioners, payable by 30 September 2022. A reduced concessionary rate of £10 is charged to the unwaged/students/Under 18s.

September key dates:
Saturday 3rd September - Bangor Congress 9:45am to 5pm
Thursday 8th September - Free week for friendly games. 7pm to 10pm
Thursday 15th September - FIDE rated Bangor Blitz Championship 7:30pm to 10:15pm
Thursday 22nd September: Caro-Kann education night. A special demo board lecture from 7pm to 7:30pm, followed by a 4 round unrated rapid at 15+0 from 7:45pm to 10pm.
Thursday 29th September: Round 1 of the Bangor Classic. 7:30pm to 10:30pm. UCU rated.
