An update from the Women's Development Officer:
I'm delighted to announce that the second event of the new season to encourage women and girls into chess in Ulster will be back to the first spot, a fantastic club, Greenisland FC Chess Club.
The event will be held between 1pm and 4pm during which time there will be some casual play, informal coaching, puzzles and should numbers allow, a small tournament.
The event is FREE.
The aim of this initiative is to encourage more female players to join clubs and play in tournaments in Ulster. This is also an opportunity for them to get to know other female players and gather knowledge of different UCU clubs as we attempt to rotate the event to different clubs.
Expression of interest should be emailed in advance to allow for better planning of the event
