The Williamson Shield 2025
On the 17th - 19th January 2025 the long running Williamson Shield Tournament returns to the Pavillion at Stormont Estate. This year the Tournament will runner the Friday, Saturday and Sunday and will have 6 rounds of classical chess using the 60+30 time format.

This is always a good way to kick of the new year of classical chess. There is even intrigue this year as the young upcoming generation seeks to topple the established champions of past years.
