Round 4 at 1:45pm

Round 5 at 2:35pm

Players must be seated in rating order, within 99 rating points, so anyone 100 rating points or higher, must play above their team-mates. Players may be rotated every round (as long as the players rotating are under 100 points)

Example board order:

Player 1 - 1850

Player 2 - 1949

Player 3 - 1803

Player 4 - 1742

FIDE rapid ratings will be used to determine board order. Where a player has no FIDE rapid, their FIDE classic will be used. Players without a FIDE rapid or FIDE classic rating, will have their UCU rapid rating used. Players without any rating will be assigned a provisional rating by the Chief Arbiter.

Pairings will be made with Swiss Master 5.7 Build 8. Teams will be entered into software programme with the rating of their highest player. A match win = 1 point. A match draw = 0.5 points. A match loss = 0 points. Tie-break order: Buchholz, Progressive, TPR Mixed.

The team captain is responsible for filling out team sheets at the start of each round and must be submitted to the Chief Arbiter at end of each round to ensure all games get FIDE rated.

If a team appears as White in the pairings then that team has White on Boards 1 and 3, with Black on Boards 2 and 4. Vice-versa, a team that appears as Black has Black on Boards 1 and  3, with White on Boards 2 and 4.

Deadline to enter: 7pm on Saturday 22nd March 2025.
