Apart from tournament fees, remember to renew your ICU fees for the 2025/2026 season [1 Sept 2025 to 31 Aug 2026]. As per FIDE regulations, all players participating in a FIDE rated tournament must be paid up members of their National Federation, which in our case is the ICU. Please renew your ICU fees online before the event at www.icu.ie/shop
Tournament entry fees:
£15 for anyone paying cash on the night.
Reduced to £10 for players paying in advance by bank transfer, Revolut or PayPal.
Reduced to £5 for members of Washingbay Chess Club, if paid in advance to Jelmer Hania before event, otherwise £15 on the night, in exact change.
Free entry for extra players from the same family.
Max capacity = 40 players.
Book and prepay to secure a place.
Engraved trophies will be awarded as prizes.
